Scenes
The stage can also change and be coded. You can initialize sprites in a scene by placing them in the script box and then use code to move and change them. You could use a scene change in an animation or if you wanted a car to drive somewhere. Many of them used backdrops by having the character walk through and just change the backdrop as the character moves from side to side.

Penguin Joke Project Reflection
When broadcasting it is just a conversation between the two scripts. You have to get the timing just right so they aren't speaking at the same time. I would use broadcasting if I wanted two scripts to have a conversation with each other. I would use timing if I wanted two or more scripts to alternate while completing a task.
Make a Block Reflection
When you use make a block you are still using the same code. You're just combining everything into one block. If you want a fish to glide and then spin you can have it do both of those under one block. You might use make a block if you want your script to do the same thing multiple times, but at different times throughout the project.

Debug Refection
While debugging some strategies I used where to try different things out, until the commands worked. Such as changing commands around and testing them out. If I were to help someone else learn how to debug I would first show them the main commands that are often used. Then I would help them by solving the debug using trial and error.

10 Block Challenge
This activity helped me understand and use different blocks that I normally wouldn't use while creating an activity. The blocks lets you become creative and think outside of the box. It also makes your project look more creative by forcing you to use specific blocks.

Week 1-Try it Out
While completely my first activity I was surprised at how precise you have to be while using scratch coding. I liked being led step by step through the activity because it helped me gain a better understanding. As a learner I prefer to work with other students on large activity. Something like scratch wouldn't be big enough to work with a partner on. I like to have freedom on smaller activities so I can be creative.
